Overview

Start your trip with a full-day tour of Kathmandu Famous Hindu and Buddhist heritage temples and Stupas, with 7 United Nations World Heritage Sites in the valley, you can step back in time to the golden Ages of Nepal Licchhabi Era art and architecture history as well as modern daily life.

After exploring Kathmandu, you’ll fly into the remote mountain town of Luka and begin your trek, an ancient Sherpa trade route to the area’s famous Namche Bazaar. Beyond it, you will find traditional villages, rhododendron forests, and terraced fields before moving into the glaring landscape of glaciers and ice.

We will visit monasteries in the heart of Sherpa country, where you can observe the monks in their daily prayers. You’ll also hike out onto the Khumbu glacier to visit the world-famous Everest Base Camp, where climbers, flowing the steps of Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay, prepare for their summit attempts. Stands at the foot of the Khumbu Ice-fall. During the climbing season we’ll meet many different nationalities base camping and be preparing their expedition at the Base camp and we’ll have that opportunity to share experiences with them.

Depending on guest interest we can organize premium Everest Base Camp trek that include your premium guesthouse stay, Private wash rooms, hot shower, hot water bottle & bag, boiled water for drink, and Chopper/ Helicopter services from Lobuche – Lukla and to Kathmandu. In this premium packages we’ll serve unlimited hot drinks non alcoholic, desert, snacks and preferable meal as per guesthouse offer.

Itinerary

Travel to Nepal takes several days depending on where you travel from; Arrived in Kathmandu average elevation 1380 meter /4554 feet where Kathmandu Adventure’s guide/staff meets you and transfer to the hotel close to great food from all over the world, beautiful handicraft/shopping, and number of temples and markets are nearby.

While we wrap up last minute paper works and other arrangements; we arrange for you to enjoy a city sightseeing tour to the Durbar Square, Hindu Temple, Buddhist Stupas or you can just relax at the hotel. The famous places to go in Kathmandu are; Monkey Temple offers panoramic views of Kathmandu, Buddhist temple, Pashupatinath temple Lord Shiva’s temple.

While we are taking off from Kathmandu airport, the sights from the plane are amazing; views of terraced hills and huge Himalayan mountain views. After landing in the village of Lukla 9350feet we meet the rest of our staff and porter and trek about 2-3hrs to Phakding and stay.

We follow the banks of the Dudh Kosi River, crossing this majestic river many times on exciting suspension bridges decorated with prayer flags. Soon after entering Sagarmatha National Park, the trail climbs steeply with breathtaking views Namche Bazaar, the gateway to the Khumbu Region and stay.

Namche Bazaar is a beautiful village many wonderful and interesting handicrafts shops and vendors, tasty food, and stunning views of the surrounding mountains, spectacular Himalayan sunrise and views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse and the beautiful Ama Dablam. We can visit Sherpa museum that houses an exhibit on traditional Sherpa lifestyle and fabulous photography display by a local Nepalese naturalist.

The trek continues along the rushing glacier river of the Dudh Kosi River with magnificent views of the mountains. We visit some of the amazing monastery, the spiritual center of the Khumbu region. Inside the monastery are incredibly decorative wall hangings, a 20-feet sculpture of Buddha, and the musical instruments and robes of the Lamas. Almost all the Mt. Everest Climber they spent night there for group luck and Lama perform a ceremony and hear the mystical chanting and music.

From Tengboche the trail drop to Deboche cross another suspension bridge on Imja Khola and climb to Pangboche among thousands of mani(the Buddhist mantras) stones. Our journey continues, taking us to the traditional Sherpa village of Dingboche with its exquisite views of Lotse, Island Peak and Ama Dablam.

Explore Dingboche 1-2 hour hike and back to the guesthouse or just stay at the hotel and rest.

Today our journey get little bit challenging because of higher elevation and continue along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier and passes by stone memorials for the climbers who have perished on nearby summit.

After an early breakfast we start earlier than other days, our target to hike/trek all the way to Base Camp and back to the Gorakshep and stay overnight. Its one of most challenging hike and also optional we just hike to Gorak shep which is about couple of hours and stay at the Gorakshep (we can custom design as you like) and spent two night at the Gorakshep; one day trek to Kalapattar top and views of Mt.Everest, Lotse and other mountains and second day hike to the EBC and back to Gorakshep.

Its one of most challenging hike and also optional we just hike to Gorak shep which is about couple of hours and stay at the Gorakshep (we can custom design as you like) and spent two night at the Gorakshep; one day trek to Kalapattar top and views of Mt.Everest, Lotse and other mountains and second day hike to the EBC and back to Gorakshep.

In the morning we will enjoy tea and breakfast before our descent. We head down the same way we came up with enjoying beautiful views, valleys, surrounding by spectacular snow capped peaks, and reach at the Pheriche for our night hold.

We are rushing down and continue back down the valley, below the tree line and through the rhododendron forest to Deboche, a quite and beautiful village with Tibetan nunnery. If you are motivated we can climb to the remote village of Phortse. Today will be a short hiking day an afternoon to relax, shower, do laundry and prepare for the final day hiking out.

Today we trek back along the Dudh Kosi River through a magnificent rhododendron forest and pass many beautiful waterfalls. Just before reaching Namche the trek takes us through a pine forest, where musk deer often graze in the early morning. Arriving in town, we may see lots of people including porters, Sherpa guides and interacting about their trade and trip.

Long day trekking back to Lukla and spent a night at the guesthouse, confirm the flight and another necessary logistic for next and celebrate the successes of out trekking and goodbye some our staff and stay a night at Lukla.

After we arrived in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel, you can take rest or visit some of the heritage places and get together for final celebration dinner.
